Online Bookings are recommended as we do have a limited capacity. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please ensure you are no earlier than 15 minutes before your time slot as you won’t be allowed entry.

In wet weather please wear appropriate clothing as parts of the farm will be muddy.

Animal enclosures at Hoo Zoo are set up for the enjoyment of our animals, they are not forced to sit on display and may require looking for. Our carnivores are fed a natural diet meaning you may see whole dead prey items (such as dead chicks) in their enclosure.

Only service dogs are allowed on site.

The Lemur Walk will be open on weekends and school holidays (except for in severe weather).

– Online bookings are essential. Although we will now start allowing some tickets to be sold on the gate, these will be dependent on capacity. The only way to guarantee a ticket will be to book online.

– Hoo Zoo will be continuing timed entries. The booked time is the earliest you can arrive – you can continue to arrive after that time up to our last admission at 3.30pm and can stay until we close at 5pm.

– Face masks are no longer required but are preferred for our indoor areas

– Card payments preferred

– Hand sanitiser points and wash stations are available around the zoo.

We appreciate your understanding and patience at this time as we all continue to adapt to this ‘new normal’.
