If it rains continuously for 2 hours or more during your visit, we’ll give you a FREE day ticket for a return visit within 1 month. Please note that only general admission tickets pre-booked via www.hoo-zoo.com are valid. Tickets purchased on the day (either online or on the gate) are not valid.

We will inform all customers within 24 hours of an affected date by a push message on the Hoo Zoo app. You then need to email us with your ticket reference to get your free return.
No cash alternative is available, tickets cannot be sold. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Return visit is subject to availability, see website for opening dates and times.
Should it rain on your return visit, tickets will not be transferable.
To be eligible for the Rainy Day Guarantee tickets must be purchased on www.hoo-zoo.com before the day of visit. It must have rained for 2 hours continuously with no breaks and you must have physically visited Hoo Zoo on that date. Tickets cannot be given preemptively (e.g. Because the forecast states rain is expected).
The following tickets are excluded from the Rainy Day Guarantee:
- Tickets purchased on the day
- Tickets purchased as part of a short breaks package
- Tickets purchased as part of a promotion using a voucher code
- Tickets purchased using a gift voucher
- Tickets purchased through a third party
- Tickets purchased using third party reward loyalty points
- Discounted Special Event Tickets (e.g. Mothers Day or Fathers Day)
- Blue Light Tickets
- Annual Passes
- Home Education tickets
- TLC tickets
- SEN evening tickets
- Christmas Tickets
- Cinema event tickets
- Schools/Group tickets
- Birthday Party tickets
- Corporate events
- Complimentary tickets
- Open dated tickets
- Experience Packages
