Our Work Experience programme is designed for college-age and further education students looking to develop real-world skills in animal care and zoo operations. Spaces are limited and require a £100 deposit, with £50 returned upon completion of the placement.
Volunteering at Hoo Zoo & Dinosaur World offers a hands-on introduction to life in a modern zoo. It’s a great way to gain practical experience, support our education and conservation work, and build the skills that many animal centres and wildlife parks look for when recruiting.
