Running from 10am to 12pm, this new experience takes place in groups of 8 people allowing everyone ample time to handle, feed and stroke the array of animals.
An example itinerary:
9.50am – Arrive at Hoo Farm
10.00am – Check in for the experience
10.05am – A short safety briefing to make sure you get the most out of your experience whilst staying safe.
10.10am to 10.40am – Handle our Reptiles (the reptiles used change session by session but may include a Burmese Python, Reticulated Python, Giant Tortoise or Monitor Lizard).
10.40am to 11am – Hand feed one of our groups of Lemurs. We have both Black and White Lemurs and Ringtailed Lemurs, the Lemurs used change session by session.
11.00am to 11.30pm – Stroke one of our Skunks
11.30am to 12pm – The favourite part of most peoples experience, Meerkat time. Get up close and personal with our Meerkats. During this time you will be offered the opportunity to hand feed and interact with them whilst some of the Meerkats may choose to climb on you.
12pm to 12.30pm – Hand feed one of our groups of Lemurs. We have both Black and White Lemurs and Ringtailed Lemurs, the Lemurs used change session by session.
Our keepers will be there throughout to help guide you through the experience and answer any questions you may have whilst ensuring you have a fun and safe experience.
Please be aware that as our animals welfare is of utmost importance and we are privileged to be able to get so close to these species – we will not force our animals to do anything against their nature and all interaction is done on their terms.
