Coatis, genera Nasua and Nasuella, also known as the coatimundi hog-nosed coon, Mexican tejón, cholugo, or moncún, Guatemalan and Costa Rican pizote, Colombian cusumbo, and other names, are members of the raccoon family (Procyonidae).
